For sale is a one of a kind LJ baskethilt that was custom ordered by me to include the "S Hilt" detail as well as having the heart shaped cutouts and extensive file work.
The blade is made by Angus Trim and is a backsword blade.
This is probably one of the lightest quickest baskethilts ive handled, weighing around 2 lbs, its really fast, and really sharp.
It has cut a few bottoms, but thats it..... the blade shows NO flaws and in fact i ran the blade over a felt polishing wheel a while back so the finish is currently a bit higher than a "standard" Atrim finish......
the following pictures show the hilt "in the white" before i browned it. and then one of it browned....... its currently brown.
I did the browning myself and it is a tough durable finish that is really gorgeoous and has to be seen in person to admire.
the grip is sharkskin.
The sword is supplied with a simple black leather scabbard.
LJ's hilts are hard to come by and he only sends Gus a few of these a year, and they are usually sold before they hit the website.
Since this one has all of the extra work on it, makes it even MORE rare.
