I agree ladoga, no leather or metallic belt loops have ever been found to support this method of carrying a drinking horn. I find simply tucking the horn in the belt easy enough. Personally Im not keen on carrying a drinking vessel around with me and hardly ever do. If we do a combat show we have a person with a period water bucket and large sipping spoon that we use for drinking. Spreading germs just like the norsemen did lol.
