I agree with the compliments and also the question. Please tell us more about your pugio.
Thanx Both of you!

I bought it from a company in Germany called Battle Merchant! Here is a link to their site! http://www.battlemerchant.com/

To find the Pugio you klick on Greischen unt Römishen in the left menu and then it is listed as
0209117522 SAY/SDK/1175 Pugio Titelbergstil

It cost me under 120 evro (around $160) togehter with a gladius and this includes shipping. Not bad at al!
All Pugios I've seen have that distinctive bulge in the middle of the handle. How does it feel in the hand, with extra attention paid to the bulge?

It actually feel fine! The bulge fits perfectly into the pit you have in the middle of the palm. Look at your palm in your half closed hand and you will see how it fits!

I will do some corrections to it though! There is a thread on the corrections that should be on RAT
( http://www.romanarmy.com/rat/viewtopic.php?t=14663 )!
Do you have any info about weapons from battlemerchant.com?(unfortunately I don't speak german) Are their swords sharp?Or are they for training? Are they durable enough?

They have blunts for reenactment fighting and semisharps for hiphanging;). They have no roman swords that can be used in training! The blunt´s they sell is medieval and Viking!

You can always mail them! They speak English and German and SWEDISH   !
This same Pugio is available here in the USA from Soul of the Warrior (http://www.rustyspaintballgear.com/)!
One should be arriving at my place any day now....
