Can anyone tell me if they have any experience with the C.A.S. practical cup hilt rapier? I found a good deal on one, (on By the sword.com)but can't find any images of inside the hilt itself. I'd like to know if the tang is exposed inside the pas de an's or if it has a ricasso tube. If any one has any info on this particular weapon, such as quality and handling I would certainly appreciate it.

The inside of the cup is lined with leather, and there is a true ricasso. I removed the leather ricasso covering and spent several minutes with a file to even up an round off the edges of the ricasso.

I've been pretty happy with mine, otherwise, although I wish they had not put a round grip on it.
