Yes, you are correct, Otzi's axe was pure copper from what I read in "The Bronze Age" by Jean Pierre and Mohen and Christian Eluere. Nice talking to you, cheers!

There are some tools/weapons known to have been worked from copper ore by North American Indians.

A lot of the early copper work was fairly pure copper (such as axes, battle axes, daggers etc.). Later copper with natural impurities such as arsenic became more common, and they may even have added arsenic or antimony themselves.

I thought that only applies to the ones made from mostly copper, before they switched over sometime in the '80s.
