Cicada Forge forge-folded katana

Up for sale is my forge-folded Cicada Forge katana.

I'm not very versed in the Japanese side of arms collecting so I will immediately apologize for my brief listing. Should you need more info, please PM me and I'll do my best to get it for you. Please take note at the end of this listing regarding price and additional info.

This is one of the original Cicada Forge katana sold by Live Blade. It has a folded blade of, I believe, 1060 and 1095 steel. It is sold as shown with cotton ito and no bo-hi. Includes black saya and simple cleaning kit, of course. It has a 29.5" long blade with an 11" tsuka and 1" sori.

Please excuse the photo quality as I haven't had time to do a proper studio setup at home since I've moved into my new place. Nonetheless, these shots hopefully give a good representation of the sword.

I bought it originally for cutting, but never have used it. I used a Bugei Crane for cutting, but never this Cicada Forge katana... This sword is completely unused.

New versions of this folded katana from Live Blade are $1495, albeit with a better mounting. The version offered for sale as you see it here was offered at $1250 when purchased.
