Black Oxide as a Tactical Finish
Last week I got three blades ready for black oxide, one test piece, two customer pieces. Today I got the test piece back, and it not only looks good, but is still sharp enough to cut paper. That was a concern I had, sometimes adding a patina tends to dull the blade, didn't happen this time........
Well, it works on 1911s, why not swords?
Seriously, it sounds interesting.
I am really liking your tactical series.
Photo of the sword with the paper it cut......

OH. That looks cool. Can't wait to see the tactical gladius.
What's the overall purpose of these swords?

M
Being cool, among other reasons. ;)
