I have been reading the review of the Western Martial Arts Workshop 2006, and I am very interested in the sickle fighting in particular. I was wondering if anyone knew if a modern copy of the Paulus Hector Mair manuscript was available anywhere or if Jeff Tsay has published something about it?
Also, is there someplace to get a quality reproduction practice (or sharp) sickle? I wouldn't be buying one soon but its good to know for future reference

The pen may be mighter, but the sword is much more fun.

A couple of members of ARMA are publishing a translation of Mair's pole arms section, not sure if that will include sickle.

Thanks Bill, now that I know where to find it I just have to work on translating it
Thanks Martin, that's good to know, I hope it will include the sickle section.
Thanks to both of you for your help,
-James
