Thanks Gordon.

Unfortunately over here a fire-arm is a fire-arm, period. Remember that spanish burocracy has about a milennia headstart on the States and Queen Isabella funded Columbus on the off chance that he actually might discover something that would fill the vacuum in het treasury Wink
When she signed his grant she was at the brink of bancrupcy ánd looking at the enourmously costly task of warfare with the Califate of Granada. She was not to know that Boabdil would turn out to be one of the wisests and greatest true leaders of history and hand over the key in exchange for clemency for his people.
Anyway, more red tape Cool

I read about the possibillity to have the vent hole blocked. This however defeats the purpose and would make it in effect the same as the replicas by Denix that you can literally buy at the gas station on the highway over here for less than a tenth of the price.

Btw Gordon,

Had a look at the Middlesex-site and am wondering which would make the appriate set for a civilian rider and wether he would have ever carried a musket or blunderbuss.

I particularly like the basic functionality of the doglock pistol, the next generation from your english lock pistols, but also the sleek elegance French dragoon pistol. Choices, coices, choices.....
