I was pondering the Albion First Gen Late Roman Spatha. I have done some brief research on spatha hilt forms. Is the Albion design based on any particular archaeological specimen? Is this hilt form represented in any works of art?
Please let me know if anyone might have any answers or links to better information.

I didn't know she was an Otter Princess when I married her! Although, her small, laughing eyes and love of shellfish should have betrayed her true nature to me.
