Up for sale is another copy of David Edge's and John Miles Paddock's Arms & Armor of the Medieval Knight. It's another out-of-print classic. It's the most recommended title in our Bookstore and the second most frequently reviewed title. It cover arms & armour from the 11th to 16th centuries and is well-illustrated throughout.
This copy is a 1990 Crescent Publishing reprinting and is in great shape. There is really minor shelf wear to the dust jacket, including 2 or 3 very, very small tears and some very minor wrinkling around the bottom. The book itself is in great shape. The front endpaper bears a name, date, and small "Happy Birthday" notation. Other than that, it's basically pristine. Third-party copies are going on Amazon for over $70, and according the descriptions, those copies aren't in as good a condition as this one. :)
Asking $45 + shipping. Money Order accepted; PayPal preferred (please add 3%).
I was the lucky person who purchased this book and I just wanted to commend Chad. The book is in even better condition than he described (heck, it's like brand-new) and was packaged very securly.
I grew up in a fairly small community and in the late 80's the only real knowledge my friends and I had of available books came from the occasional Barnes & Noble printed catalog that one of us would get and pass around. I'm pretty sure this particular book was frequently in that catalog but being poor college students, none of us could afford it. It's nice to finally add it to my collection. :)
