While browsing through last legends homepage the other day, I stumbled upon their new pro sword line.

I've already heard lots of good things about the quality of their older stuff, but I wonder if there's anyone here who already owns one of the pro sword Katanas. I would like to hear some opinions about the quality of the swords.

The 919D and the 815I look very tempting, especially with the "introduction prices" offered by swordarmory. com , but i'd like to know, how the blades perform, let's say, compared to Paul Chen/ Hanwei Katanas.

To be totally honest, I think the Last Legend stuff is just awful. Sure it will probably cut fine, but to anyone who knows what real nihonto look like, it just looks bad. If I were to get a katana that wasn't custom, it would have to be a hanwei from bugei. Their quality control and customer service is great, and their swords look much more traditional.
