Up for sale is a hardcover edition of Eric Valentine's Rapiers: An Illustrated Guide to the Rapiers of the 16th and 17th Centuries, and their Companions. It's a 1968 publication of the Arms & Armour Press with 74 pages. It covers just what the title says. :) It's bound in maroon cloth with gilt letters on the spine. Scans of the dust jacket are below. The book is in good shape. The binding is tight and the cover is in unbumped and unmarred. The front endpaper has the original purchaser's name and the date of purchase in red ink. The dust jacket is good shape for its age. On of the fold over corners has been bent and re-straightened. The whole dust jacket is protected by a Brodart Just-a-fold III dust jacket protector. The hardcover edition is getting very rare.
