Nope.

This one is from Europe.

Oh duh, you mentioned the interbank transfer... hmmm how about Klepac?

Russ,

I'm not even sure what Klepac is, so I guess this must not be that. Confused

He's mostly an armourer from that part of the world. Thought it was worth a try though.

I would venture a guess, is this by one of the Kritof brothers ? I believe they do business under Three brothers Production or some similar name.

Joe, that is a real beauty. I won't play either since I know the answer (thanks Chad). I've admired their rondels for some time. Nice to see one come to life and make it across the pond. Looking forward to more pics.

Yes sir...ARMA Bohemia it is.

I suspect it might be a Pavel Moc via ARMA Bohemia becuase it looks like some of the stuff he appears to sell through them, but I also see Lobko piece on their site as well. Won't know for sure I suspect until it in hand and I can inspect it for makers marks.

This was an expiramental buy for me. ARMA Bohemia has a really interesting assortment of stuff on their site: swords, rapiers, daggers, pole weapons, armour, bows, camp goods. The rondel was an amount I could afford to write off if it did not work, but the piece appealed to me. Assuming it meeets expectations when in hand, I suspect I'll get some other odds and ends from them.

Drat, I actually perused Arma Bohemia's site and found their rondels and thought that they did look somewhat similar... but didn't make that guess because who knows who the heck their makers are? Well besides them of course... Happy I should have guessed Pavel Moc though. I'm betting you are right about him being the real guy behind that dagger.

Have to wait and see, but there is definitely stuff with his mark on the ARMA Bohemia site and this looks like his hand to me. Guess we'll find out how good my eye is before too long though. Too bad Pavel's site has no Enlish on it. From photos, I like the look of much of his work.

Not St. Patrick's Workshop? I thought it looked a bit "Scottish" in the furniture and was thinking someone known for broadswords and dirks....

Rod, this was posted as a new topic, not as a reply. I'm guessing it's supposed to go in this thread. If not, let me know and I'll move it.

Rod, its probably in the mix for maybe, but until its in hand I have to settle on ARMA Bohemia since that's who I paid for it. The real "who" behind it is a mystery at the moment. Makes the anticipation fun though.
