Custom ATRIM 1314 Type XII/XIV "tweener"
Gus described this as a "tweener" as he felt the blade type was somewhere between a type XII and a XIV. This was his first sword intended to have a permanent peened handle and with a more historically correct 4.5 "grip. The two historical blades that served as my inspiration can be seen in "Records of the Medieval Sword" by Ewart Oakshott, XII.1 on page 66 and XII.15 on page 84.

The grip and scabbard are by Christian Fletcher and this actual blade is on display on his website in 13th - 14th c swords.
