28 inch sabre style blade, with Jody's awesome hollow grind, 10.5 inch hilt and steel fittings and leather wrap.
Long story short, I've had this awhile, in moving shops a couple of times the last few years it ended up packed in a box, and sadly, neglected.
I rediscovered it recently and it had light rust and pitting over the blade and fittings, nothing catosrophic, but still, quite embarrasing. You'd think a sword smith might look after his toys better.
In any case, I've refurbished this sword, a one-off piece by Jody, and given the blade and the fittings a fresh satin finish. His stamp, and his personal signature remain intact... and I oiled it this time.
