Next Fantasy Custom by Chrisitan Fletcher and Angus Trim
I got the first pic's of the next custom from CF and AT.

This is the first of a run of 25, the inital is funded by me (I love the sword style) once in production will be available as an exclusive thru Christian Fletcher. Works not done, scabbard is next, a take off of the Historical Scabbard with more detail.

Hope you like it:

Final pricing has NOT been determined, Christian will work that out once the blade is finished billed and shipped.
Looks nice.
Great looking sword. I'll need to invest in one of these. I really like the "point" on the wide fuller. If it even gets close to the FMLB or the Ranger, then I'll be a happy dude!
Since that was one of my favorite swords from the movie, I really like this one.

Very nice. I bet the scabbard will be very fine as well.
Really nice. Wish I had the cash to own one...
NICE!
FANTASTIC -- I've been waiting to see this sword for quite a while!

Which leads me to a few questions:

1) I this blade a pre-existing design, or a totally new design?
2) If it's a new design, will this blade be available for customization by CF? [Could one order a pommel, crossguard, grip different than this one?]
3) Do you have any basic stats yet? Blade length? Width at base?
4) From your post, It kind of sounds like this sword is a prototype -- has the design been frozen or is CF still making adjustments?

For comparison sake, I've attached a pic of a sword that we're all familiar with which bears a passing resemblance to the new Atrim/CF sword.

Thanks for answering my questions!

A certain Gondorian warrior would be proud to wear this sword ;)
Hi Stephen

Lets see if we can get ya some answers:

1) it's baced off the AT1429, with a longer bace handle and difrent pommel set up, this one is a 5" handle vs 4.5" of the basic sword.

2) This is an exclusive desighn to CF for this sword, he'll probably offer diffrent coloring like he did on the Ranger, but the desighn is set to this blade. Like wise this blade in it's set up will be ear marked for this set up.

3) Looking at abought a 30" blade, 5" handle, bace weighgt was abought 2 lb 12 oz not sure were this one will come in some place close. PoB is hard to say handles longer but pommels a redo, so we'll have to wait till CF posts them.

4) This is the First, #1 of 25. I suspect things will change as the sword are made, they always do. The Ranger under went a few suttle changes as it was made. So yes, I'm sure CF will make suttle changes by the time I get the first one.

Glad you like it!

Darn, that is some nifty scabbard work... Man, if I only had the money I'd take one of these things for sure. Stuck dreaming, I guess. :\
heres one Christian sent me of the Redeemer, laying along side a ranger and to the right of the Ranger my Elvenized Leaf Blade.

What a sweet set of swords
I must say that the scabbard is one of the most beautiful I have seen anyone do. Christian did a gorgeous job on the molding of the leather and this really brings out detail without extensive metalwork. Bang-up job Christian!! And Gus, what a great blade! Love to see double fullers on that one ;) . Excellent job all the way around.
I'm drooling in anticipation  I'll take number 5 Christian!!
Robert,

I'm afraid number 5 has already been reserved, but if you want to contact me directly you can certainly reserve number 6. I'm actually very pleased with the interest in this sword. The Ranger took quite awhile to build up this sort of interest and momentum. I don't anticipate it will take very long for the entire run of 25 to be spoken for.
It looks a beautiful scabbard, and educational too. In my ignorance, I'd assumed from glancing at the sword that the semidisc at the base of the blade was some sort of a rain guard to go 'over' the scabbard lip. Age and poor eyesight I guess.
