You can think of it as roughly the equivalent of Oakeshott's Records of the Medieval Sword or Pierce's Swords of the Viking Age but for Polearms. All in all an informative and well written book and well worth the read in my opinion.TRITONWORKS Custom Scabbards
I do wish that Brill would come to the realization that there is a good market for most of their catalog in affirdable trade paper editions. As it is, I can only look out for them at used book stores. But thanks for the posting, I will add it to my list of books to keep an eye open for.
