I picked up an Indian made Rondel from Medieval FightClub last week. Gave it a dress up.

What it looked like when I got it.

Making the top rondel. I made this from scratch and slightly larger than the bottom rondel.

And done. I used the original rondel for the front and gave it some file work and reused the original grip as it was actually pretty good timber.

The blade came with a threaded tang and I had a brass nut that fitted so a quick bit of file work and a polish and it does a reasonable job of hiding it. I peened the threaded bit as well. Unfortunately I nicked the rondel with the file.

Cheers

Thank guys.

Decided to make a new sheath for it as well.

I still need to make the chape.

Sorry about the bad photos. I'll get some better in harness on the weekend.

Cheers

The only thing left now is the chape for the end of the sheath.
