"Master and Commander"-esque weapons
Having just seen and enjoyed the movie, I would like to know if there are other people here with an interest in the weapons of that period. For my own part, I own a Swedish P1854 infantry hanger, which is actually just a re-ground P1748, and which, with guard-plates removed and the hilt painted black, became the Swedish Navy cutlass P1808. Here's a pic of the P1854:

One of my favorite swords is the British Pattern 1796 Light Cavalry saber, and I consider myself lucky to own an original. I'm partial to cavalry sabers from that time period, but there are some straight bladed cavalry swords, infanrty swords, and even some of the naval swords. :)
The British National Maritime Museum has an excellent naval weapons data base. It spans three centuries, but is concentrated in the Napoleonic and later nineteenth century eras.

Unfortunately, I cannot get into it at the moment (I think they do maintenance on Sunday).

I'm particularly fond of some of the fighting spadroons.
