Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew what hilt was on Wesley's rapier in The Princess Bride? I looks pretty simple, but I love the look. I'd also be grateful if anyone has any screencaps that feature that sword.

a simple (structural-wise) cross/knucklebar with two rings of the same size upon either side, similar to a Norman type 14, only with two rings instead of one. Big Grin

Wow, thanks so much for posting those! That design really appeals to me. I may eventually try to have a custom copy made of that one. I also love the rapiers in La Femme Musketeer. I've been reading Michael York's bio, and he said that in Lester's 1973 version of the Three Musketeers that it was really paraffin wax that was used as ice in the "Fight on Ice" scene.
