Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a WMA group in the Stanford area? I will, funding permitting, be moving out there this fall and I was wondering if there is a group in the area.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Nate C.

I've been keeping my eyes open for a WMA group in the Stanford area, but haven't had any luck. I think I've heard of WMA groups in San Fransisco. I myself haven't got any training 'cept what I could get from books on Talhoffer and Ringeck. Alas, that my fellow students would show more interest!

There you are gentlemen, you have two interested people. Thet's enough to start training and eventually form a group. My advice is to try to attend any seminars or workshops that you can get to and to be scrupulously honest about what you're doing and what level you're at. People won't expect you to be masters unless you claim to be.

Cheers

Here you go:

Brian Price started this group, though he's moved to Houston. Nonetheless, Brian's teaching is of the highest cabliber, so I only imagine the students of his continuing this group must also be top notch.

There is also this guy, http://64.2.37.70/. Kind of a brawler, heavy drinker at faires and likes single stick way too much, but he knows his stuff.
