I picked up a Greek Bronze Short Sword from the Albion Moat.

The fact that it was from the moat sale and had been in storage and being sold "as is" I was well prepared to find it in not the best shape which would be expected, so no reason to complain. I was prepared to just put a little work into cleaning it up. I was very pleased.

It arrived in great shape, very pretty and clean with a nice scabbard. Great bargain for the price. I did not have to do anything to it at all except put it next to my Knight, Mainz, Templar, Tritonia, Gotland and my two pieces from their sister site Filmswords.

Thanks Albion and a special thanks to Amy.

I bought one of each of the two bronze Greeks. Both arrived today in the typical (but much shorter) Albion white box. The sword formerly called Odysseus (the more cut oriented piece) and its scabbard had clearly been out and about, and need some TLC. The sword formerly called Achilles (the thrust oriented piece) and its scabbard were all wrapped up and pristine. Of course, both pieces seem to need a serious weight loss diet. I'll be working on that as time allows over the next few (or many?) months.
