Hey guys,
As much as I love my partially loose-leaf paperback edition of Records of the Medieval Sword, I'd love to pick up one of the older hardcover editions.

If you have one you're thinking of getting rid of, please let me know. Thanks!

Happy

ooooh. $120. Probably worth it, but my soft bound version is doing fine, for the moment.

The going price for these does indeed seem to be around $120, and if you don't want to spend that kind of money I might suggest an alternative. Since you already posses a copy, why not get it re-bound? Prices vary between binderies and the service you choose, but a cloth or faux leather rebind would run between $15 and $50. For the cost of a new (used) hardcover copy you could probably get a custom leather cover done if you wanted something special.

You might want to ask about bindery services at your local library or do a check around on-line. There's plenty out there but they usually don't list prices so you'd have to contact them for a quote.

This site shows some rebinding options, and the link to their FAQ also answers a lot of questions should you have any:

Chad,

I lucked out and got a hardcover copy off of EBay for $59 with shipping. If you want to hold onto your $$$, you may get lucky sometime too. The rebinding is a great idea too.
