Greetings;
I just wanted to give a public thanks to Allan Senefelder and Mercenary's Tailor for having managed to ship me a new gorget, AND do a quick repair on my Illusion Armoury backplate where it had been cut too low, and getting it all done in time for a jousting show this past weekend! And I only gave him two weeks to do it in!
I couldn't be happier with the gorget, it's articulations are perfect and for not having ever seen me even in person, the fit is close to perfect. The addition he riveted on the the upper portion of the backplate to extend it and make it work is close to seamless (though you CAN actually see the rivets, LOL!) I put the harness on in the morning and didn't even feel the need to remove it between shows. Since I often get a "gag reflex" from too tight a gorget, I was rather concerned about the fit, especially over my heavy buff coat's collar, but Allan managed to get it just right. Plus it's high, but I can still easily move my head and neck without any discomfort at all, either on foot or in the saddle. I'm impressed!
Anyway, I was very pleased with the customer service as well as the product, so THANKS ALLAN! for the favor!
Cheers!
Gordon
