Recently took delivery of that contemporary katana from castlekeep, also got a bare blade in monosteel similer pattern as and whenever it's done, all new hilt setups on the two, hilts i'l be doing myself, eventually :D
actuall next one is a close run between a full katana package from randal who's work just has that  factor for me, as and when it's done or that montante inspired piece from st george armoury, the sword from mark is i think a time for time deal as i'm up that way to reroof his workshop and forge towards the end of this month,
a little further on is a piece from tinker, although thats as yet to be confirmed, mainly due to me being indeceisive, but i'm leaning towards rapier after seeing patricks pic on the blade write up  lovin that axe by the way,and look forward to the reveiw, :D
Next Gen Earl
MRL English Rondel

Don't know what else.
I can't even think about the next acquisition, right now. I just want to admire my brand new A&A Gustav Vasa...and brace myself for next month's wedding expenses.

Arms and Armor Henry V
Albion Regent
Albion Knecht
Arms and Armor Horseman's axe
Jacob Powning Viking (I hope)

In that order I think unless some wildly good deal shows up somewhere. So how about you? Let's see your next 5 in order...

Hmm...

So many choices, so little time...

1) I think I'll pick the ATrim's Northern Italian Bastard Sword (NIBS). It's a nice cut-and-thrust XVIIIa, and, because it's so inexpensive, I won't feel too bad cutting with it...

2) Albion's Count. I really like the cross and pommel on this one...

3) A customized ATrim MS-1313. I've always had a soft spot for it...

4) Albion's Huskarl, Vassal, Earl, or Dane. I haven't decided yet.

5) A custom late-15th-century XVIIIa/b from the talented craftsmen of Arms and Armor. The final sword will probably have a lot of Albrecht Durer in it, that much I can say already. But, if saving up the money becomes a problem, then I'll gladly get the production Durer bastard sword.

Nasty, very nasty. :D

Now that is nice. :D

Aaron, concerning the Gaddhjalt....

The odd thing is, same as with the Knight, I never really noticed it. So one day, I was browsing the review section, noticed the Gaddhjalt, read the review, saw the pictures, and thought: "Hah... looks nice."

The next day, I found myself looking at the review again. The day after that, I went over to the Albion site, looked at the review again, and somehow, something made sence. Sounds odd, I know, but somehow I knew that if I had the sword in hand, I would love it. Right now, the wallpaper on my computer is a picture from the myArmoury review. :D

So basicly, I'm now waiting for my Armourclass Cup And Ring baskethilt. I hope I can squeeze the Gaddhjalt in before that. I know what sounds silly, but with a total of 22,5& taxes a duties for each swords I buy, I need to be a little carefull with my cash before I order a sword.
My next five:

1) Scabbards for my Sovereign, Regent, and Mercenary
2) New furniture for the living room
3) New TV for living room
4) New carpet for the upstairs
5) New flooring in the kitchen

:\

When I first saw it on the site, I thought... "That's strange... though correct, seems out of place with the others... eh... whatever." Often, when I would cruise the Albion site, I would have the same impression - but I had to keep looking at it.

Then, Harlan handed it to me. My train of thought went about like this (in about 0.5 seconds) - "eh... looks kind of cool... hey, really kind of cool... uh... oh, oh wow! This is a sweet piece! Dude, this is nice!"

It feels so totally different to me than any of the other pieces...

Thing is, I'm not a very big fan of Viking-swords. I know that they were powerfull cutters, well-constructed and all. But I'm just not big on the looks. I do try to have my collection become representative of swords througout the ages. And the Gaddhjalt would be great for that, not only does it fit into the catagory of a Viking-sword (a late on at that, but still) it's also a great transitional piece from Viking to 'Cruciform' hilt. Another aspect of the sword that I like.
Hello all,

After handling the Sqire line 13th great sword, my list changed:

1. Halbred from a custom maker...Ohhh so sweet..
2. Albion Baron
3. Albion Epee de Guerre
4. Albion Crecy
5. Albion Knight or Soverign...it's a bit of a toss up really

The harder one will be COP of a couch. Pivot point of a rocker/recliner should be easier, though...

:)
Becareful when moving the couch in. If you drop it you may experience a high polar moment.
Chad, repeatedly checking for the CoP on the TV probably won't yield better reception... :\

Bet, however, the dynamics of deploying and recovering the recliner will be pretty sweet - should handle exceptionally well.

Oh, and the couch may surprise you... may be one of those sleeper pieces that are phenomenal when you actually experience them. :p

Sorry to hear that, bud...

In all honesty, a new computer will likely take precedence over all but one of my sword purchases...

But, hey, look on the bright side-- you can at least use the left-over rolls of linoleum kitchen flooring for cutting targets.
1. Albion Kingmaker & scabbard
2. Albion St. Maurice & scabbard
3. Scabbard for Sovereign
4. Albion Chieftain
5. Custom A&A dagger

1) Good idea  - I wonder if I can come up with the funds for some scabbards.
2) me too
3) just got the TV
4/5) the wife talked me into "investing" in some travertine floors, which are currrently in process
All of this, plus the wedding I mentioned somewhere above. :(
Right now I have the following on order and am just waiting:

-Albion NG Regent from Christian Fletcher w/scabbard & belt
-MRL/Windlass 15th Century English Rondel
-MRL/Windlass High Middle Ages Dagger
-Albion Campaign Scabbard for my NG Mercenary

My to-buy list is changing constantly but as of today the next five that I will buy are:

-Albion NG Kingmaker
-A&A English Long Sword
-Albion NG Landgraf
-Albion ML Brescia Spadona
-MRL German Bastard Sword

I am also looking for a good-quality 15th Century sallet and bevor in the German or English style (suggestions welcomed) and will probably purchase a Bascinet from Valentine Armouries in the next year or so.

All this and I just brought a new car! :\
