A while back I purchased this rondel dagger for my 1380-1415 impression.

I have a question. What is an authentic means for attaching it to my belt?

Generally hang it from a thong fixed through the mouth of the scabbard, as far as I know frogs as such were not used, though they can also be pushed between the belt and the pouch etc.

There are a couple of good threads covering this subject, including the what happens if my dagger hangs upside down question, which that may by the look of it.

Nice dagger though and if it does hang upside down- not al all inauthentic.
