"Dark ages" clothing and accessories
I'm posting this in off topic, because these guys don't seem to offer much "martial" type goods, but they have quite a good word of mouth reputation for quality medieval clothing, and I thought you guys (like Patrick Kelly) who are into this time period might want to check this out.

Thanks Gordon!

That site is very helpful as a reference if nothing else.
Thanks, Gordon!

Here's another that's 50-50... some stuff is outstanding, some, well, isn't. Some of the nicest belts I've come across, but they're quite proud of them, judging by the pricing. (And yes, as a craftsman, I know all about the work that goes into these things...)

Here's a much more affordable source for fittings: http://www.quietpress.com/

I've done business with him twice now. The fittings are well made and cleanly cast out of red bronze. I put together both viking and norman era belts with his fittings and leather blanks purchased on-line from Tandy. The cost didn't exceed $50.00 on either one. That's roughly half of what Jelling Dragon charges for a similar belt.

How about www.northan.net. Alban makes the fittings sold by The Jelling Dragon and Medievaldesign I believe...
