I spent a little time looking through Bladeart.com the other day - some pretty neat stuff by a number of tallented folks. Bet there will be a few photos taken there.

Darn it! According to a post of his that I just read over at SFI, Gus will be a no show this year. I was hoping he'd be there with the 1571 Bastard Saber. Oh, well.......

Yeah. I said that on this forum, too. Gus has never been to Blade. Once again, Blade is not a typical "sword show" -- it's a knife show with knife makers that happens to have a few sword vendors there, too.

Kevin made a sword for me about 4 years ago. He's an extremely nice guy and loves to talk swords, metal and LOTR! I don't know what he'll have at the balde show, but get to his booth. I corresponded with him a few weeks ago and he is one of the small makers who may not go back to ABS due to costs. Anyways, tell him Anduril is doing fine. That is definitely one sword I will bring to your house for the roundtable.

The blade show was pretty cool. There were lots of nice pieces, and we (Nathan, Patrick, Chad and I) all ganged up. We covered a lot of territory, and took a lot of pictures. As such, we all have a ton of stuff, probably a lot of overlap, and a lot of sorting and cleanup to do. Give us a little time to get these pooled and posted. Nathan said he'd make a photo gallery for the show.
Now, for a quick and dirty rundown.
Vince Evans, Kevin Cashen, Rick Barrett, Tinker all had pieces we got pics of.
Got some of CASI/Hanwei's new stuff.
Got some pics of the Kingdom of Heaven line.
Got a few from Albion's table.
There wasn't much fantasy stuff, nor were there antiques I personally found worth bothering with. Maybe the other guys found something I missed.

I'm back. And I'm super tired. After the 4.5 hour flight, I got off the plane, came back home, cleaned up, went to a party, drank entirely too much, got home at 4:30am my time and woke up not too long ago. This was after a weekend in Atlanta with basically the same thing each day and its own shortage of sleep to boot. But we got some good photos and will be putting something together to show them all to you. It might take me a few days to even want to look at my own photos, if I'm being realistic. I need some rest!

Alright. The pics I took are up.
Until they get moved into the main Events photo album, they will be located here:
Aaron's Atlanta Blade Show 2005 Album
If this link shows no photos, then Nathan has already moved them to this link:
Atlanta Blade Show, 2005
I got what I could, and not everything was worth posting.
General overall shots didn't turn out - suffice it to say it was a room the size of 3 football fields slammed full of people and pointy objects.
There weren't any antique or fantasy pieces I thought were worth the trouble to snag.
Yes, there are some additional pictures of the Crecy. We liked the Crecy.

Thanks Aaron, for sharing these and the effort to get them here.
Most of us can only live these events somewhat vicariously. I can see the gears spinning in Kevin's mind, while checking out that sword.
Cheers

Mine are... look about 5 posts above this for links.
That may tide you over at least a little until the rest of the gang gets theirs up.
