We're a week out. Don, David, William, are you still planning on coming? Anyone else from forum land? :)

Let me know ASAP, please! :)

For those members interested there will be an excellent gathering for public education called Days of Knights just down the road from Dayton in Lancaster, OH on 10/8-10/9. It’s one of the highest quality medieval events in the U.S., and as a side note, many of the reenactors presenting there are myArmoury members.

Jonathan,
Thanks for chiming in. DoK is a great event. I've followed your Facebook page for years, but haven't been able to make it in person. I highly recommend people give it a try.

My gathering is more informal and low key. No historical kits necessary. Just some arms and armour enthusiasts who want to hang out, do show and tell, and cut some pool noodles, etc.
Sorry for my delay in responding to this thread. I don't hang out here as much as I used to. That being said however, I would love to do the gathering. It's been a long time since I've seen a lot of you. Looking forward to a day of blade-oriented geekery.
I won't be able to make it after all, but have fun, everybody!

I hope everyone had a great time. I was not able to attend due to unanticipated demands that surfaced at work.

Small group, but we had a good time. Many pool noodles were harried; some were even destroyed. :) Man, I'm out of practice when it comes to cutting....

We'll catch you next time, Joe.
