Making a Pata by Ilya Alekseyev and Matt Easton
Recently Ilya Alekseyev embarked on a project for the Art Knife Invitational show. He was very rushed as he was only invited as a guest 3 months before the show, but he allowed me to document the making of his first of three projects where he made a Pata. We invited Historian Matt Easton to talk a bit about this unique Gauntlet Sword. All in all I think it's a fantastic piece of work that showcases so much metalworking skill that its hard to believe one person made it. Take a look if you are into this sort of thing!

Thank you,
Matthew Stagmer

I watched it already. The result was literally jaw dropping to me.
