I could have sworn I saw a few shots of a very nice Bauernwehr being used by the title character in the new season of The Witcher, but I couldn't find any screenshots of it online. Was I hallucinating? I'd even go so far as to say it looked like the work of an artisan who is often posting on here.
Can anyone help me out here?
EDIT: Looks like 1st episode right around the 14 minute mark

Yep! That was probably one from Tod of Tods Workshop and Tod Cutler. He makes reproductions for the show. I HIGHLY recommend his Youtube channel Tods Workshop. He even has a video about artificially aging daggers for the show.

Hey Todd and Cheers!
I thought I recognized your handiwork and it was quite beautiful. They showed one of them several times in the first episode, though quite briefly each time, they definitely made a point of it. I made some screenshots which I can upload here if it's allowable by copyright? I don't know what the rule is, let me know if you like I'll upload them.
I did notice the by-knives and really, I think it was a lovely design and so nice to see a real - and quite interesting - medieval weapon on there and featured so prominently. I believe it was the sharp because he sliced a piece off what was supposed to be dog or wolf flesh with it and ate some, though shockingly, he didn't wipe the blade off before re-sheathing it lol.
Congrats on that very nice work. I liked especially that it had a clamshell. .It looked very similar to this antique, I wondered if that was a coincidence?
Also do you make this exact type for sale?
