Artwork Featuring Italian Baselards
I am looking for period sources (Effigies, Artwork, etc...) depicting Italian Baselards, similar to X.297 featured in the Royal Armouries: https://collections.royalarmouries.org/object/rac-object-1191.html

I have found plenty of sources showing the Swiss Baselard (Crescent-shapped Quillons) but the Italian variant seems to be more illusive.

Anyone have any leads?
I’d start with manuscriptminatures.com and effigiesandbrasses.com

Here’s a search for baselard on both sites. You’ll have to wade through everything to find the particular type(s) you want

http://manuscriptminiatures.com/search/?tags=%22baselard%22

http://effigiesandbrasses.com/search/?tags=%22baselard%22

Remember to search for alternate spelling, variation in capitalization etc.
Or just go to the complete list of tags on the search tabs
Thanks for the link, this site has just what I was looking for!
:-)
