Posting a Whatzit? Danish or Spanish?
Posting a Whatzit? from a forum board. I know I have seen this somewhere before and iirc, the first half of the 19th century.

Danish cutlass or Spanish fascine? I just don't recall what the ID was. Posted recently in inquiry at the Sword Buyers Guide board. 18"+ blade.

I saw this form either at Sword Forum International, at Viking Sword or J&J Militaria but I just can't remember what it was listed as. Hal Siegel of Therion Arms has a sibling and is curious as well. I had figured Hal (as a collector of 19th century short swords)would be the one to know. J&J had some Danish stuff, so maybe that is where I saw one. The other thought was over at SFI and maybe Juan Perez was the one with an ID for these. I know many of us travel in the same circles but myArmoury has attracted many diverse international forumites. So far, everyone is drawing a blank.

Just that quick from Mark Cloke of Old Swords

"From Espados Espanolas by Vincente Toledo Momparler. A good book for Spanish ID's."
