I have neglected to update the thread: the dagger did finally arrive, 6 weeks after placing the order and more than 5 weeks after leaving the UK. It showed up by surprise, with USPS tracking showing it still in Chicago (insert eye-rolling emoji here).
As a side note, I must say that Tod's 14thC quillon dagger compares favorably with daggers costing more than twice as much. :D

Excellent, that has been spot on for my experiences with Chicago as well. I have something waiting there right now in fact. For some reason they love to pick on Tod, but he and his wares are always top notch, and he has been more than fair to me in the customer service department before.
Three weeks for a dagger from Tod in north NJ, held in NYC facility for the vast majority of that. Not terrible, but also got a shield boss from Poland in 9 days with UPS.
I'll defend the USPS most of the time though. I don't think it's their fault this time around. Unofficial review of Antennae Dagger coming soon!
