The Polearm Conversion project [DIY]
MY plan, is to reshape a off the shelf polearm into another kind,
with the goal being to be a blunted reenactment combat polearm for a late 14th century average footsoldier, (so nothing too pointy, so, no billhooks.

https://www.medieval-fightclub.com.au/medieval-weapons/axes/axe-heads/halberd-axe.html is what i want to use as the base, its cheap , locally available and fairly well made
the main polearm im looking to convert is this halberd,by essentially cutting the blade and fittings to shape to make a socketed polearm that better fits my needs, most likely a glaive but it could be something else.

what i seek from you guys, are known designs of polearm heads from 1340-1400 ish period (as opposed to 15th or later century polearms. i am having a very hard time with my current resources to know which polearm heads i see online are 14th or 15th or even later century )

(if this project is a bust, ill just make a simple voulge in this rough shape) https://scontent.fsyd2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/86629505_239282817075060_3523078165859663872_n.png?_nc_cat=106&_nc_sid=b96e70&_nc_ohc=y3AalX5SXgAAX87IgRS&_nc_ht=scontent.fsyd2-1.fna&oh=acc307f4ab4442abc8c8dde50661f5b5&oe=5E90D85F
(lighter and narrower is better because 1 better stab control and 2, less impact on ma friends heads) out of some simple sheet steel with the eyes riveted, rather than welded to the blade,
You could do worse than start at our old friend Manuscript Miniatures website, where you get dated pictures so you can be sure you are not looking at too late a period e.g.

i have but, its occasionally hard to tell whats IN the manuscript some times, and the perspective can be a bt screwey thats why im more looking for physical examples ill be honest,
Fair enough, though the intention was for you to "get your eye in" on dated material so you could judge what you were seeing online. Few actual weapons come with detailed enough provenance to independently assign them dates - it tends to rely on comparative dating.
