Pattern Welded Migration Sword
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

This is my last sword. I kept it over all the swords by Barta, Petr and Michael that I have owned. I purchased an Arm Art Pattern Welded Sword. Various parts for the sword and scabbard came from Tillerman, Danegeld and Ganderwick. The base leather over wood scabbard was made by Sonny. I finished it. I made the belt. I didn’t want it to look too commercial so kept it rustic. It was cut to go over a tunic and chain mail. so it about 40 inches.

The various sword parts and sword went to Ernie at Yeshua’s Sword for extensive hand work on the blade and handle, and putting it all together. The handle is a very high grade imitation ivory, made that way because of thought about taking it overseas. . As usual he did stunning work. The one photo here shows it unfinished, better high resolution photos are here. www.flickr.com/photos/100474669@N06/albums/72157711965194931

The blade is 29.5 inches and never cut with. Just under 2 LB 5 OZ.

Due to the parts and work done on it, I know I will never recover its cost, but many of you remember my nice collection and why I needed to find new caretakers for them.

So to save it from an uncertain fate It is available at $2000 net to me shipping free in the US or Canada.

Thanks

Robert

Blade
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

Someone asked about the blade. The section wrapped about the PW core is not rough. When the work was finished on the blade and then re etched it turned out like this. Instead of having the mono steel section polished out, I like it this way and had it left.
