I am cleaning some arms for a local museum and am trying to identify the various items as well. I haven't been able to find any information on this particular bayonet. There are Austrian models that are close but I've seen nothing with the peculiar mark on the blade near the hilt (King's head). The blade length is 21-3/4" and a little more than 1" at the hilt. The blade is not straight but "wavy" - I 'm sure there's a term for that.

Can anyone help identify this item.

Thanks

It looks like it might be a Danish M1867 Bayonet for the Remington Rolling Block Rifle. The blade is a yataghan style blade. The knight's head stamp is that of CR Kirschbaum of Solingen.
