Caring for a bronze Greek arrowhead
Hi all, so recently I bought myself a little Greek Trilobate arrowhead from around 400-200 BC. When I bought it, it was completely encrusted with pretty hard sediment, which seems a bit like sandstone.

I have cleared off the vast majority of it and I think have probably gone as far as I should on this piece. So my question is what to do next in terms of stabilising the bronze?

Thanks in advance!

I would leave it as it is. It doesn’t appear to have any issues. The only thing you have to worry about with bronze is Bronze Disease, a toxic reaction, which will eventually consume the bronze. For more information on Bronze Disease, you can do a google search. Yours doesn’t appear to have that issue.
