LOL, i practice religiously.... Both Steve and I are fast becoming Masters...Brady Soaked Cherries Beware!

Great Gag guys, Really a good way to wake up before work! Any chance of getting a Hand and a half or two handed version?... Sometimes my drinks get a little on the Large side.

Scrap that hand and a half, at the least I need a Bidenhänder that will be large enough for a bottle. Whaddya need a glass for when the stuff is already doing nicely in the bottle...?

O god that's priceless   Sometimes I think we take this hobby a little too seriously. It's nice to see that you guys have such a great sense of humor. :D
Bwaaaaahhh!!!! You made my day, Albion! Thanks. :)
Priceless! :p

I had a feeling it might be a spoof - but that's an absolute gem!

Nice one, guys!

LMAO best one I got all day! :D :) :D :) :D
Hey Mike, if you're reading this, I want to cancel my order for the NextGen Poitiers and get a Type A Swizzle sword instead!

I love Peter's facial expressions! (By the way, just kidding about my order ;) ) -Ted
Dear Sirs,

I already own this line of swords. In fact, I am sure (well I think maybe) that I even trademarked and copyrighted it. Thus all rights based on consumption (I mean discovery) are mine!

However, seeing it is the guys from Albion I can see my way clear to licensce the rights for a 90% discount on all future purchases (I'll take one of everything I don't already have).

Cheers,

John Burley
I now have a mission! I will endevour to use my international assests (i.e. my ability to walk down town to the bar) and try to find new and rare swords of this variety. I'll keep you informed (if I can still type at that time). :D

I remember my younger days, surfing the web, finding a site that sold swords and armour and had as it's mascot an armoured cat (usually wearing a goggle-type viking helm). Somehow I never made the conection between Albion the Armoured Cat of those days, and Albion Armorers as I know it now. Thanks for the memory (and if you happen to have a picture of Albion in that viking helm (or a bascinet) I'd love to get a copy)!

Fo-Shizzle!!
That's rich! Very, very funny!

I actually do have one of these on a shelf with some miniature arms and armour I made/bought.

Hi Grey,

I have to say that's one of the most fascinating things I've read in awhile. I never thought about our possibly not seeming like the same company anymore. Kind of neat, and kind of sad at the same time. Howy found an old photo of Albion, which he added to the April Fool's page, if you wanna grab it off of there. Albion would be honored, if only he were here to be so... Glad he can at least jump out at us once a year on AFDay!

My best,
Amy

My memory isn't always the best (I'm not old enough for that, but that's just the way it is), so I could be wrong, but I remembered Albion's site having a brown, cobble-stone type background. I'm visually oriented enough that that change alone could easily have thrown me off. Also, that was back before you started making your own swords, so the content was sufficiently different. I wouldn't worry too much about the change, since I'm certain it has been for the better.

Thanks for the pictures of Albion. It's not every day that you see a cat wearing a helmet and standing on a mace; I'd recognize that anywhere, (though, in keeping with the parenthetical statement above, I might not remember why I recognize it), but there are also a couple of those that I never saw before. Thanks again.

I'm not seeing the cat on the Fool's Typology page. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I remember one aprils fools joke Albion did where they had an executioners kit. Is that page still available somewhere? I've searched for it but come up with nada. I remember the text was hillarious.
Here is my re-imagined graphic of the "ALBION CAT " using PHOTOSHOP: Hope you enjoy it. :D

Hey Bjorn,
Is there a cleaning/sharpening service? Or a warranty? After all, there were many historical figures who were so thick-headed that you'd probably do more damage to the axe! I say that figurtively (Cromwell), and literally (Henry VIII) :!:
