hello all. can anyone help me out with getting in touch with pavel moc? i have sent many emails(all in english) requesting a price list and ordering instructions to no avail. is there anyone in the states who sells his swords? do i need to learn Czechoslovakian ? is it personal?  if someone could help me out that would be great!!

Happened to me too, although I sent him several e-mails. My friends got price-lists and even swords from him without problems. Why? I have no idea.
Maybe he just doesn't like names Blaz and Mike.
My advice?
The obvious solution would be to change your name... OK, seriously, I don't know why you want to order from Pavel Moc, but if you're searching for relatively cheap blunt reenactment or sparring swords, you can try Radek Lobko or (for nicer swords) Vladimir Cervenka, both from Czech Republic. Search the forum, there are several topics on their work.
Or you could try again, and put some exclamation marks in the letter so you'll get his attentions. Some of the makers in Czech r. don't understand English well, and they don't always have the time to get all the letters translated.
Oh, and the language is Czech, and is a bit different from Slovakian (although both are Western Slav languages, and they probably sound the same to you).

Mr. Moc replied my inquiry at a delay of couple of months:
"Let me please first explain you why I have so long delay answering your emails.
I was very busy with moving my workshop during last months. As you can imagine
it was very dificult and time consuming task. Nevertheless, the workshop is
fully functional now and I hope everything will become normal again.
If you are still interested in ordering please let us know. Looking forward to
the future cooperation.
We hope you will not také an intense dislike to our workshop."
Sounds like a good excuse to me, too bad I already have a Cervenka hand-and-a-half sword coming. Maybe later..

i just ordered a hand and a half from Cervenka too.# 2000116. thanks to everyone though. i still would like to see pavel mocs' work first hand though..........ohh well.
