This is the exact PPR pipe Peter Johnsson suggested as a simulator for upper arm bone. Here's my take on cutting these "upper arm" target with Longship Armoury 3V swords.

This is not the aquatherm pipe but 2 china ppr pipes to simulate the aquatherm difficulty. I tried to cut it with a lightweight short bastard sword by atrim.

Not so. I always try to watch. I find them informative and it's good to just watch someone having fun with their swords. I was thinking it would be interesting to see how things cut if the cuts were delivered from more of a "fighting type" sequnece instead of a stationary test cut dedicated stance.

Nothing in fencing is really difficult, it just takes work.

Well, I did plenty of those in the past, like moving cuts, running cuts, spinning cuts, deflect first and then cut.

The short cuts I did recently were also the fighting type. In fact it's the stance I used in sparring, though it may not be familiar to you. I attached screen captures to show. Even the big cuts were used in the sparring too.

This is where the short cut was put to use.

This one shows the big cut + short cut combo.

Short cut after a series of exchanges.

And this was the big cut in the fight.
