A unique "furdyment" of the saber.
It was with great pleasure that I made a job based on the beautiful saber found at the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw.
The original belonged to the army of the court chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Karol Stanisław Radziwiłł.
Dated to the eighteenth century.
The weight of the original saber 1700g, my work more adapted to the present and wishes of a friend - 1260g.

That looks great Tomek! I really like the shape of the blade, especially the tip. It looks like it would be a brutal cutter.
This is fantastic.

Ever since I've seen those curious sabers I wanted to see a reconstruction.

Wonder how do originals handle with their somehow beasty weights of ~1700g. :D

Way to go, BS. I tried finding that pic yesterday but had no luck. This is just an
awesome looking saber, and ....

TK, Holy BeeJeeZus ! what incredible work you continue to show us ! ! ! !
Ya'know, Albion's motto at the top of the page I open is History In Your Hand ...
I'm not knocking that at all, but keep examining and celebrating what TK is doing, my
fellow forumites.

It seems to me He is an extraordinary talent reproducing history that you can, indeed,
hold in your hand. B-)
Thank you all for good words.
Matthew, I'm glad it did not bore you. ;) Thank you my friend.
