For sale - Austrian M1861 infantry officers sabre, early WW1 Era. Has a service grind but isn't sharp. Very little corrosion scattered around the blade and hilt, with only 1 medium sized blotch in the pommel area. Grip wrap and wiring is 100%. Blade is straight, and measures 26.5 x 1 1/8th inches and tapers to 3/4 inches from two inches of the tip.
Blade measures 26.75 inches long, and 1 and 1/8ths inches wide at the base, tapering to .75 inches wide 2 inches from the tip. The blade is actually fairly beefy, coming in at a little over 6 mm at the base.
