Flemish knife, around 1500
After a long time of planning I finished a knife in a typical flemish design from around 1500.
What makes this knife special is the way the tang is assembled from 8 brass pieces that are all held together by two rivits (tang plates) and the rivited protruding parts of the tang (top and bottom).

It is a rather small knife, the total length is 17cm, the handle alone 8cm.
The engraved plates are about 2x1.5cm.

Materials are carbon steel, sheet brass, black horn and plum wood.
