Looks a bit like a Roman 'Sica' blade----a gladiator's weapon. I can't be sure though. ......McM

It does *look* like a type of Bronze Age knife, and also like later Roman knives, but unfortunately the rust and patina are identical to a whole series of bad fakes that I've seen over the years. It's not a Bronze Age knife because of the iron blade, and I've never seen a handle like that on a Roman knife. Certainly it could be something else legitimate, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too far. Sorry...

Looking again, maybe something African? That continent is well known to have produced some rather odd bladed weapons. .....McM
