I hope someone can help me identify some info on this sword. I was told it looks like old English or possibly Scandinavian. I would appreciate any information possible. Thank you. I will post some pics.

I can tell you it's a modern decorative piece - i.e. neither old nor a real sword - but not much more than that. Sorry.

A pretty common design for "toledo" swords, still made today by companies like marto (their sword of the catholic kings). Usually stamped blades with photo etched engraving, cast guards and pommels, and wire wrapped handles over a bent metal grip core. They have been making these designs as tourist pieces for the better part of a century.

an idea of what these go for. "antique" shops frequently (over)price them at $70-$300 due to ignorance(on their part, or assuming it of their customers)
