Cutting PPR pipe cored newspapers roll
https://youtu.be/gP67snTye-8
There's no ending in learning. After all these years I'm still training, trying to master the more precise timing of the secondary power generation.

Trying to cut twin PPR piping cored newspapers roll, simulating arm with twin bones, with Longship armoury 5160H exblunt Dadao and sparring cuts.
I'm going to start test cutting soon (limited by the amount of sharp implements I have), and this looks like a good medium.

Yes, this is very good material. If you can't get it, each 2cm diameter pipe is about equivalent to 3 wimpy bamboo chopsticks.
Here's another test on such target, even bigger this time, to simulate upper arm and shin. I used Longship 3V No Remorse, since this is the sword my sparring RSW is modeled after. It cuts through with sparring cuts no problem. The 3V also held the edge much better than the 5160H, worth the cost!

Using a longship armoury 5160H dadao against a plastic bag covered newspaper roll cored with PPR pipe.

The resistant felt in horizontal cut was tremendous. Every cut ends with a big ringing sound on the blade and the feedback was like "Man, I hit something very hard!" with a thought "is my sword tip still there on the blade?" LOL!
