I have acquired a replica of the Langeid sword, a late Viking period sword. yes, I know I was supposed to stopped collecting, but things just happen.
I need to find a scabbard maker who can do an upscale scabbard in the US, Brian has a long wait list.
But in the meantime, is a scabbard of this period likely to have a bridge and elaborate chape?
Thanks
Robert

Talk to Christian Fletcher if you're committed to CONUS (which I understand).

I have brought an apprentice on board if that's any consolation!

I can see why you changed your collecting plans. Stunning sword! Worthy of a fine scabbard.
If I were you I'd want some of those motifs in the hilt incorporated into the scabbard.
