Offering this very rare Spanish 1796 Heavy cavalry Bilbo sword with an interesting captured French HC blade.

The spine is marked Mfture Imple du Klingenthal Coulaux Freres meaning it was made before 1810; the ricasso has 2 poincons (B for Beaumaretz 1803-1812 and M for Marion 1808-11); the tang is also stamped with some numbers or letters and the hilt has an R and D markings.

Overall good condition but some slight movement on hilt, patina on blade. This is a very interesting piece!
